Counseling Tune Up
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

What's the first clue you have when you know it's not just a "bad day," but you really should have a counseling "tune up?"

I think, if an issue lingers despite your giving it every effort at resolving it, you either accept it or seek help. All best, Private!

I agree with Kathy. It definitely is time for a tune up. I feel I have a lot of things I have to talk about to my counselor. There's been a lot of stuff going on in my life lately and it's really brought me down. I'm haven't been sleeping well or eating well. I'm anxious and nervous. Tired but can't sleep. I've been canceling my appointments with my counselor lately but I made one for this week and I'm keeping it and going to go see her. I really need to see her. It's time for a tune up.

I have had a few counseling tuneup. Since my counselor is out of state( where I used to live) I can have phone counseling. She also has a license to counsel in Florida. When my husband had a stroke 2 years ago, she counseled me for 5 months. It really helped me so much!
