I am working now after waiting for disability to kick in after a five year period. I need motivation for when I get home to do housework. I’m working 12 hour shifts. How can I motivate myself to do housework?
Break it down into bite size prices. If all you can do is clean one shelf in the refrigerator then just clean that shelf instead of thinking you have to clean the whole thing.
I have friend that just started a cleaning business. So she is going to come out this Wednesday to clean my master bath. Not cheap, but I have been working overtime so I decided to go for it. Of course she did not want me to pay her, but I told her no way.
Lots of loud, energetic music. It helps if you have guests over!
Is there anybody who can help you out. 12 hour shifts are brutal. No wonder you don't feel like doing housework. I wouldn't either. My place was a disaster when I worked 12 hour shifts. We also used to work 8 hours on Saturday and 5 hours on Sunday. Not 1 day off. I don't miss that, but I miss the money.
Good idea. I’ll try it.
