Is it possible to have only 2 very mild hypomanic episodes, then normal times mixed with depression periods and really be bipolar?
Anyone mostly feel normal with periods of mild depression interspersed between and only a couple of episodes of very mild short lived mania?
Hi. Your question caught my eye I never heard anyone say "mild bipolar" If you've been diagnosed as Bipolar your doctor would be the best person to answer this question. From my own experience I was mostly depressed and could see where I could almost almost say I was depressed but eventually mania came around. Then there was no doubt I was Bipolar and depressed. A lot depends too on your age. Bipolar usually presents at age 25 or so and maybe you have something to study up for; prepare for. IDK. If you are questioning your psychiatrist diagnosis - go to a different one and see what they say. Post on here to get feedback. Read my story and see what being Bipolar meant for me. If you have any questions let me know. I was relieved when I got my diagnosis...everything made sense and it still does 30 years later. Best of luck to you. Keep asking questions.
Yes it is possible. I hope you're seeing a doctor. Nothing help bipolar 2. You need to be on medication if you want that to slow down. You never know when an episode is going to show it's ugly head. Medication helps with that. I hope you find the help you need.
Well your lucky without the outward behavior. That's what get's me in trouble is the outward behavior.
Thank you. I am not quite sure of the different ways mania can manifest, especially if I am the type that has mental only manifestations without outward behavior changes of noticeable to others....
