Doctor Appointment- Was I Right.
I had an appointment with PhD for Monday and at the last moment they cancelled the appointment. They indicated that they did not treat my mental health condition. I am senior and had to make reservations with other agency for a ride to the appointment two weeks ahead. I was so upset. They wanted to reschedule with other PHD, I tell no. I have contact other mental health professional with a referral from my pcp. I am going to contact an attorney to see if I seek legal action.
My pcp was the one who referred me.
I'm sorry you had this happened to you! You can definitely write a complaint for a last minute cancelation. That was very unprofessional of them.
Please see your primary doctor first and get a complete physical. Then ask him or her for a recommendation for a psychiatrist that you can see.

You need another referral. They didn't help you! Be the squeaky wheel, and your own patient advocate!
