I got off benzos for 2 reasons had to travel 180 miles to find a dr. That would write. Colodipins. Athens Ga. College town. Not friendly writing benzos or pain meds. Big reason when I would wake up I would have to do 2 /2 mg. Colodopin. Or I could not get out of bed. Very addictive. Not being negative what works for you is right.

Pina asked Melissa Bench what I take for anxiety..I take Klonopin.Others have much luck with Lexapro which is a combination to treat depression and anxiety and many doctors love it for their patients who suffer from both depression and anxiety!!! I do love my Klonopin.I used to be a skin picker and since taking the Klonopin am not picking like before on my face,head,pull out my hair,pick at my chest,legs, back and left me with permanent scars .I don't take anti depressants.My doctor feels that because my normal is to be hypomanic that if he gives me any type of anti depressant it will send me into a full blown manic state Mania for me has always been very dangerous.I remember when I had no control over my spending,my sexual impulses,my speeding in cars,the horrible things that came out of my mouth like sexually innapropriate talk all the time that shocked people.I don't like being manic.So I make sure to stay in my safe zone of hypo mania.I get things done,I work,I maintain relationships,I keep a very clean apartment and love to cook and do laundry and go to church weekly.Pina,good luck with finding a good anti anxiety medication for you.Your friend Melissa 😁🤩

No but I was on benzo and pain meds for along time and very high dosage.High tolerance. But been over a year since I takong those meds and i.m glad Athens Georgia dr. Are not script friendly. Thats why I won.t have needed surgeries. When they took out my kidney they let me be in high level ot pain and would not write pain meds. Gov. Regulations on Opiates leave many people in pain which causes higher level of depression.
