Hi everyone . I was put on Remeron in 2019 along with klonopin by my psychiatrist . )I haven’t had luck with SSRIs) it worked for over a year , but my anxiety was still bad so my doctor added gabapentin and then wanted me to wean off klonopin . I finally did back in October and I was only taking it for emergencies . I felt great . He said he thinks I have bipolar disorder . He put me on a low low dose of Seroquel but I felt so great I didn’t want to mess anything up . Some traumatic things… read more
@A MyDepressionTeam Member thank you 🙏🏼 and you’re absolutely right they have to list every side effect and sometimes it’s not even a real side effect from the medication :( I decided against it for now because I am also taking gabapentin and Remeron which are both sedating as well .
ive been on serqual for almost 2 years now and i have had no problems with drozziness and it does not effect my sleep, i take 150 mg at 5 every evening and i feel find, maybe if you took it at a different time, re supper time u wouldnt feel so tired , just a thought, give the drug a chance it really helped stablize my mood and make for a much better ealthier days for me
I took that medication for years and I also took klonopin too Yes I do have something to say about Sierra Quinn it made me sleep for almost 15 years I woke up every day to do the little functions I needed to do to take care of 3 daughters and then I went back to sleep when they left for school in the morning I went back to sleep and slept almost a whole day just until before they came out so I have the personal opinion that I have your being on Sierra "for 10 years that that is very strong anti psychotic and if you are not psychotic you should not take syrup well I take something called Lamictal.. I have been on it for 10 years I have had no thoughts of suicide since then
Ive been on Quitiapine (Seroquel) at 300 mgs along with other anti ds. And anti anxiety meds. for years. I find its a good fit for me. But i would advise taking it at night, it can be quite sedating. Also starting at a lesser dosage.
I find that i take all lists of side effects with a grain of salt. Every possible little effect must be listed. But i do watch for any changes in my body chemistry when i start a new med. Good luck with whatever way you choose to go.
@A MyDepressionTeam Member nobody is talking smack to you. The fact is gabapentin works for anxiety and for bipolar disorder . Klonopin is also an anti convulsant and works for anxiety . I understand that we are all on this website because we are going through a hard time, but there is no reason to be rude to me or to other people. I’m sure that my doctor is not prescribing me something just for funsies.
I posted on here because I was desperate for help and I really did not need your negativity I hope that in the future, you think about how you choose to speak to people. I can guarantee not everyone is going to react as nicely as I did .
