How To Deal With Seasonal Depression
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

I live in Minnesota so winter lasts for a long time. My depression gets harder to handle during the winter. I use a UV light and I’m not sure if it really helps much. I do ECT’s for treatment and I’m just hoping I won’t have to go back to weekly treatments. Does anyone else have a hard time with winter. Do you have any suggestions that might help?

I would reccomend getting it on line. I can send you a couple of places, don't go to cvs or Amazon unless my suggestions are cheaper there. Talk tomorrow?

The B's and a reputable omega 3 fish oil helps me, and MDT.🤗

I joined my local YMCA so that I can exercise in the winter. My profile says I live in Florida I don't know why it says that I live in Wisconsin actually. So I know all about the doldrums of winter. When I exercise intensely releases endorphins which make you feel great for at least a couple of hours.
