I am wondering if anyone has ever had any kind of memory relapses in a random place like the grocery store or just out walking down the sidewalk in nature? I was walking through Walmart today and had a memory relapse not sure why could this be a symptom of depression or something else? I am curious to know because this is a first for me and it was hard to come back from without severe nauseating pain in my head afterward.
Hi Susan. I have fibromyalgia an bunch other diseases as well. But its a on going thing with ME. I'm not saying u have it but that i can relate 2 it. I do apologize that as we get older an we get more knowledgeable i feel or believe we can get a overload of life bc we have day to day we have ppl work children significant other boss an an then we have bills an we have whatever else is going on n our everyday lives an depression an anxiety just adds 2 things. Im only speaking 4 myself. Ive had all kinds of tests cognitive Alzheimer's ALL memory testing š± scan mri nothing is wrong but me getting older an just life 2 many irons n the š„. May u find inner peace an take one day at a time an know that that is ALL u need that u can handle.
How long did it last? What do you mean by memory lapse? I have a dissociative disorder so I've had lots of times when I ended up not knowing how or when I got somewhere. Is that what you mean? Or do you mean forgetting stuff? That's pretty common with anxiety. I once insisted on getting tested for dementia (my dad had it) because my short term memory shut down for awhile. I'd get halfway through a sentence and forget what I was going to say. Anxiety, depression, and sleep deprivation can all cause that. Hope that helps.
