Prozac
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone take Prozac? How well does it work for you? It has made me Very tired, as well as given me some pretty bad insomnia. How can I combat the tiredness and extreme exhaustion? It's also caused me a loss of appetite, which doesn't help with the low energy.

I don't know if I can say this to this group. but in the last few months I have been smoking weed. I do have a medical card and in Canada, its not illegal anymore (up to a certain amount). I really find this is the best for depression and sleeping.

I tried Prozac years ago and was often suicidal. I tried Effexor, (no sex drive) and also Remeron, very little impact. Today my 3 main meds that work are citalopram, trazadone and Seroquel. Feeling really good!!

I took Prozac for 20 years. I took myself off last summer. I am going to try cbd oil. I don't like the risk of dementia with Prozac and the ssri drugs. My mother had severe dementia. I hope the cbd works.

@A MyDepressionTeam Member I do the same and I find it helpful as well! I also use the THC infused honey in my coffee. I've never understood the stigma attached to marijuana.

I was hoping to get relief from cbd oil but so far it is not helping. Maybe it has to do with the brand. There are so many ripoffs out there. I have been researching everything ai can about homeopathic remedies for depression. It is very confusing and overwhelming. I bought a book "How Come They're Happy and I'm Not?" by Peter Bongiorno. I am following some of his guidelines. Hope to feel better soon.
