Does anyone feel like there dreams while sleeping are for the majority of part very dark and negative???

My dreams are usually nightmares, I cannot count on all my fingers the times I have literally died in my dreams or hurt someone else.

My dreams are always frantic and violent. Usually, people stabbing and attacking me. But these dreams usually happen around harsh deadlines. :D

I completely understand where u are coming from. I've been having really bad dreams that seems so real. There are times where I don't even want to get out of bed. But as soon as a have a bad / scary dream I talk to my husband and it helps me to just get it out.

I asked my counselor a few weeks ago about dreams because I dream things that aren't good to dream about and she said there are some people who work with their dreams by writing down what they dreamed of as soon as they wake. I'm not sure how it helps but I guess it does.
