Just wondering what others do when they get anxious.
I count in my mind, while breathing slowly, I concentrate on slowing down my heart rate, and I try to meditate, it really helps to get your mind clear and rid it of racing thoughts. It takes concentration, but you can do it and it helps so much.

Try to slow my breathing down, read prayers from my devotionals. Talk to my fiancee as he can usually calm me down by telling the how much he loves me or just tells me to calm down.
I agree with breathing techniques, but be mindful of hyperventilating. My counsellor gave me some sheets that explain how it's easy to hyperventilate even when practicing my breathing techniques 😊

It seems at times I lash out at the person whom I am upset with whom triggered the anxiety and panic attacks. Then beat myself up afterwards with self loathing and self hatred. Am learning to be quick to apologize though where before I would just stew and it would fester into a snowball.
