Do You Experience Anxiety Or Depression More In The Summertime? Or Are There Any Other Mental Disorders That Become Worse?
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'd say summer is hard for my anxiety with so many chores/activities and jobs to do when the weather is not so bad to do them. But i feel clammy when heat rises, making me depressed and isolate.

Yes. I hate the heat and it makes me irritable. Also, this makes me sound like a terrible person, but I hate seeing how happy everyone else is (out doing things, going on vacation, etc.)

I’ve always had a harder time in the summer. My therapist calls it reverse SAD 😜.

Winter is the worst for me. Cold makes my anxiety worse I'm not sure why.

Winter is harder for me. I hate being cold and the heater and shower really inflate my power bill. That makes me feel depressed.
