Adderall

Adderall

Is adderall addictive?

A MyDepressionTeam Member said:

My doctor switched me to Vyvanse (Lisdexamfetamine), which is basically a time release version (for ADHD and Depression). I benefitted from Aderall (Dextroamphetamine) but the UPS and DOWNS were too much for me. I now take 40mg Vyvanse mid morning and it works most of the day with little or no crash. Unfortunately, Vyvanse is fairly new so many insurance cos. won't cover it, although there is a coupon online that'll help.

I think it probably is but I don't know. It sure has helped a couple of my friends.

I couldn't do Adderall, because it made me an irritable overthinking. I have ADHD, and major depressive disorder, so it defeated the purpose.
Now I'm on Ritalin ER 20 mg 1 tablet every morning and Zoloft at night. I have fewer side effects.
