I rid them out of my life.... they're not in my best interest and managing depression is hard enough without being surrounded by people who drain you.

Find people who lift you in a good way and stick with them! Leave behind those who seek to drain u

I try to...and will keep doing so, as is necessary. THEY are the ones with "personality issues." really...They are TOXIC. Take care of yourself.

Is it EVER hard to do! One person in particular, who I have known for DECADES, I KNOW I am better off keeping away...Yet I feel guilty, because this person has no on else to turn to. BUT WHATEVER SHE NEEDS, I CANNOT PROVIDE. And to make matters tougher--without intending to--I had to be without my med (Paxil) for 4 days--AND FELT SICK, PHYSICALLY, AND WORSE WITH THE SHAKES. I just want to stress--PLEASE DO NOT EVER STOP WITH YOUR MEDS EVER. I'm rambling now, BUT I HAD NO IDEA THIS ISSUE OF "EMOTIONAL DRAINERS" RESONATES WITH SO MANY OF US! Bless you all. Thank you for your replies and feedback. You all ROCK!
