Does Anyone Ever Get "numb Days"?
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

Does anyone ever get days when you can't distinguish how you feel? Like you're numb? And like your head is all 'fuzzy'? Like when you've just been woken up from a deep sleep suddenly but it goes on for days.... I don't take drugs or anything. Is that normal?

Yes,I feel that way. I feel fuzzy in the head when I am depressed. I will sleep alot and when I wake up I do not feel refreshed at all. I feel like I can't think straight and I can't remember things.

This lady is almost definitely depressed. This sounds like a coping mechanism. When things are too painful one removes the pain.

Yes. I have had that. I think it is a normal symptom of depression. I recommend you talk to your psychiatrist about it. 💜
