Sodium Valproate is a mood stabalising med so with depression it just keeps ones mood stabke

It has helped my grandson - he is 10 years old and was diagnosed with Severe Aggressive Bipolar when he was 6 years old. It helps with his mood - it keeps him from having 'rages'.

It is a mood stabalizing drug which can also be used in epilepsy. Depending on each individual case they will draw blood and then adjust the bloods to reach the desired level to function on

I am on that, it levels out the highs and lows of our days so lows are not as low and highs are not as high. It is a good drug, I think.
