I see this is an older post, but I am on my second round of ketamine infusions, and would be glad to answer questions.

I have received ketamine for a year now. I receive it by infusion in the dr's clinic. Started out at 3 times a week and now up to 6 weeks. Have had ECT that did not work. I have TRD and PTSD. This is the best thing I have ever tried.

I've seen small improvements from 11 months of Spravato and the recent addition of Auvelity to my medicine regime. I'm currently transitioning from Spravato to micro-dosing Ketamine at home (I no longer have transportation to/from my Spravato provider). If this doesn't work, I'm going back to Spravato because any improvement is motivation enough for me. Also, keep in mind there's a new Ketamine pill and MDMA treatments going to be approved by the FDA soon. Best wishes!

Hello what is ketamine therapy?

In Australia, ketamine is via a wax troche that you dissolve in your mouth. It has mainly stopped the suicidal thinking and actively seeking suicide. But I'm not sure it has helped much else for me. But nothing else has helped. I am also not on any antidepressant with the ketamine though. I would like to try IV ketamine therapy, but I'm not aware of that happening in Australia unfortunately
