I took it for 18-20 YEARS. It should have been changed way before that, as I had such a major depressive disorder, and was so suicidal, I was placed in the hospital for 3 weeks, and tortured with ECT---shock therapy treatments...my life has been hell since then. I have had 3 "up" days in 13 years...they are happening right now because of my new boyfriend, I think.
I hope you get meds changed before you have a worse problem, like I have....
