Light Therapy
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

How do you find a good one that works and that isn't a rip off. Also, what would the effect be on someone who can go manic from too much light?

You can go online to any site that carries daylight lighting (pet stores, electrical, etc) ... fluorescent bulbs. My husband made me my own light box which I put near the window to simulate sunlight and leave on for 8 hours or so a day. Helps my plants too ...nice and green. As far as too much light I have read that blue blocking sunglasses can have an antimanic effect.
