I was diagnosed at age 17 with BPD, I am now 19 but I haven't met anyone else with Borderline that was willing to talk about it. What are symptoms you deal with and did you have a hard time getting the Borderline diagnosis like I did?
I was diagnosed about 3 years ago after I was committed for a suicide attempt. I am also diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I had never heard of borderline prior to the diagnoses. I have a hard time dealing with impulsive behaviors.
Hi @A MyDepressionTeam Member I have BPD. I have had treatment which is long term am older than you I have extreme emotions crying or anger lots of treatments don't work for this BPD
I was diagnosed at 17 with BPD too. 19 now and still have problems coping with it. It's hard to tell how the day will go.
Well the first thing is I'm not 19 but going on 49 this month but had that diagnose for about 2 years before moving on to personality disorder disorder my symptoms included trying to be caught being someone that I was not, trying to please everyone, acting stronger than I was, and lying about who I was. Help I thought was not was not needed that I could lie to everyone that I could handle that this was not me boy I was wrong I needed help from myself it was consuming me even with help its hard but making some making head way with my team is a positive.
