Do you have someone that could take you out on short outings @A MyDepressionTeam Member? I ask because that would be a gentle way to start getting out and about. I have a friend who will take me out for meals occasionally and I will get myself out in the garden of the apartment building I live in as well. Would also suggest talking to your doctor or therapist about this as well because they may have some suggestions for you as well. Just another thought, do you have somewhere outdoors where you can sit and get some fresh air.

Also, as I have learnt the hard way with all the pandemic lockdowns it really is necessary to get of your apartment so that you get a change of scenery and most importantly so the black dog of depression is not in charge.
