How Do I Educate My Primary Doctor On Borderline Depression?
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

My primary doctor just keeps responding with " Go to the ER" and it's frustrating.

Ask for a referral to a local psychiatrist. Your Doc is not qualified to treat psychological issues, and that's his/her way of telling you that. 😐

I have an interview for a psychiatrist in April and still working to find a psychologist. My primary doctor is my Only ear right now. At least, I have his very supportive nurses.
