yes. Family helps. If it doesn't it isn't your family. I seek out sisters and brothers, and that is my family, people that are there through thick and thin.
Yes I have family and it gave me the greatest peace not feeling like I had to walk on egg shells and just constantly being upset after seeing them I still love them I just can't be in there company for long periods
It really is! The more I think about mine, the more I realize they are missing out on more than I am, in most cases.
I am so sorry! I get it,though. I tried to forge an adult relationship with my younger sister, and she said "Well, I just don't know what you have to bring to the table.". There was no coming back from that!
My family has been a problem the whole time I've been alive. I'm the youngest by several years, and my 2 older brothers were psychological tyrants and my sister didn't care enough to do anything about it; neither did my parents. I still live with this unfortunate legacy; my 2 nieces in the same city consider themselves too important to have anything to do with me and some of my nephews are absolute jerks.
