Not necessarily. My mother was my rock. Might actually be okay to go visit and remember the strength she gave me.

Great question! Before I read the question, I drove past the cemetery where my father was laid to rest and chose to remember Dad when he was living and vital to our family and is now a rock to our legacy. To answer directly, for me, the answer is that it's not a good idea, as suicidal thoughts could be exacerbated.
