Not sure why but lithium has better results for depression. Maybe she didn't want you on too many meds?

@A MyDepressionTeam Member Not to be noisy but why did he take you off the antipsychotic? Lithium definately is not remotely the same as an antipsychotic. I would call him/her on Monday and let them know how you are feeling. One thing about an antipsychotic you'll notice the changes right away like you are reporting. Sorry to hear this. Definately call either now or on Monday.
