Myself it depends on who you asked I guess .. but all said bi-polar

I am bipolar. Bipolar 1 is when you have more hypomanic or manic episodes and bipolar 2 is when you have more depressive episodes

For several days I will feel manic like I just did a line of meth .Im running around cleaning everything organizing talking fast just out of control kind of, then I will have days where I just cant get off the sofa ..

For those of you who were initially diagnosed with "unipolar" or just Major depressive disorder and were later diagnosed with bipolar disorder, what were some of the main signs that you noticed that indicated you might have manic symptoms as well?
Or what made you/others realize that your "normal" state was actually a manic state?
I used to talk a mile a minute and I’d have severe mood swings; since I’m medicated I don’t have any manic episodes
