Steps 1 through 3 of the 12 Steps can help us get started-

1) We admitted we were powerless over people, places, and things, and that our lives had become unmanageable. . .

Sometimes when not getting answers, wait or if not meant to be, then find answers from a different source. Another option could be estimating based on its history. Depending on what it is, it can raise it. Problem also questions understanding: every answer to a question brings more questions. The lesser the understanding, the more questions and difficulty in understanding.
