Today I got the results of my DNA testing. It shows categories for all things that could probably need treating. Such as pain, depression,anxiety, antibiotics, cardio etc. I am on Wellbutrin 300 xl. The DNA test showed that it will not work for me as well as others would. And I have been on it for several years. I had a thought that it wasn't working but I was afraid to change because maybe it was working more than I thought. But, I am on two others with it, so maybe the two others were picking up the slack from it not working.
Tomorrow, I will send a copy to my psychiatrist.
It showed I am on the right pain medication.
Funny, Ativan was one that my body wouldn't accept it as well.
All other anti anxiety meds would work.

Now, I am nervous about having to change my Wellbutrin. Once I get stable, or in between worse or better, but not good. I worry about trying another one. I have a lot of research to do to be able to read my DNA report and understand it.

But, I will keep you updated when I learn something new. Has anyone else had this done?
