Speak to your doctor or midwife
Hello Sorry for the late response. The main thing would be to talk to your obygyn about what options are available to you. There are certain risk to taking antidepressants during pregnancy but there are also risk to being depressed while pregnant. Mainly consider alternative treatments. Certain vitamins can help regulate chemicals to help with depression that are safe to take during pregnancy. There is also yoga, meditation and light therapy that can help. Acupuncture has shown to help improve depression in many studies for pregnant women. Not all is lost you simply have to find what is best for you and your baby. However if your depression does get bad (ie not eating, sleeping or having extreme negative thoughts) maybe going back on a lower dosage of medication is best.
