Does any body else feel like depression is a little easier to deal with at night time . I feel like in the daytime too much is expected of me so when it's time for bed it's like I'll stay up later in a better mood because nobody can judge me for not cleaning or getting out of bed.
@ LisaJo I like the sound of your way. I'm 71 and fallen into a pit of not doing anything. When I sometimes look in the mirror all I see is a lazy old hag. Not good after a lifetime of always doing for family and friends. Will have to put your idea into practice.
Yes, I have always found it harder during the day, maybe because more is expected of us during the day, it is the time that people get stuff done, go to work, etc. The morning is always the worst because I know I have a whole day to get through feeling depressed and lacking motivation and energy, poor concentration and I lack motivation and energy so often feel guilty and depressed because I'm not contributing what I feel I should be. In the evening it is more acceptable not to be busy.
Sounds like your days may be too demanding...
