When it comes to coping with our mental illnessess coping is something we all do both differently and the same. While some may cope through medication others may cope through therapy or natural remedies. While I've tried medication, therapy and other forms of healthy coping skills, I have found it hard to cope with my mental illnesses and have often times chose unhealthy ways to cope. I just withdraw from everybody. I cry alot. I have done drugs and lots of alcohol, tequila is my drink of choice. Somedays are harder tjan others. I manage to go to work everyday but after 3 I cant stand it life alone.

Hi
I would suggest that you seek out a cognitive Therapist. Positive talk is very effective. Also if you go to my bio page I have listed some things I did to help me with my depression. I get the alcohol thing but alcohol is a depressant hence I would try to stay off it. Take Care

Being around people helps me especially loved ones but I found that my anxiety would be worse when I was on my own missing someone special

I know where you are coming from, I wanted to get out of this world and would try anything to try and end it all. I also used self-harm it has been a very long journey for me but finally, i got the right help that I needed which was a detox but went through a drug and alcohol misuse place. I found that helped I stuck with it and then did a Peer Mentor course so I could help people in the same or similar situation I was in. I went to cri
