I have Schizo-Affective Bipolar Type. I've been stable for a little over 5 years. A couple of weeks ago my cardiologist put me on a new medication which required me to come off of all of my antidepressants. Last Friday my son-in-law passed away due to medical conditions. I have been going down hill but I don't know if it is because of the removal of the antidepressants or because of Phillip's passing or both. Sorry for your loss. I think the total removal of your meds has probably caused problems. Withdrawl from psych meds is real. I'm sure you are mourning, but needing meds that work is key. Get a second opinion if you have to.

Thank you everyone. I was supposed to see my psychiatric nurse practitioner yesterday but my appointment was cancelled by her office. They rescheduled for a month out. I told them that wasn't good enough. They changed it to April 26th. I talked to my therapist and she managed to get it changed again to the 19th. It really stinks when the NP is only seeing patients once a week.

Sorry for your loss I know it is not easy, have you talked with your doctor about your meds? If you are grieving there are support groups that can help you worth a try .
