Just curious, I'm new to this problem. Started having issues with falling sleep, staying asleep, and getting a full night's rest. Is this a common side effect of depression?
I still have broken sleep despite my psychiatrist increasing my Risperdal to 2 tablets b 4 bed.

How do u keep from giving up on finding a partner, when everything they do can be misconstrued as rejection...?

How big a part has exhaustion played in your illness. Since was 14 I have lacked energy, and doing things like mowing the lawn has been extremely hard to build-up to. At 65 I stopped mowing and shoveling, and my gardening is largely being done by my nephew....I have always felt that exhaustion has been one of the worst parts of my illness, and one of the hardest to manage....what have others found?
I added low dose trazadone and the ‘I don’t care’ thoughts and attitude is gone. A lot more energy

I don't consider feeling sad about something bad that happened depression. That is a normal response to something. To me depression is feeling bad when I don't really have a reason to. Or feeling too bad about something that happened. Too bad for too long.
What causes that? Why do I react differently than other people?
I talked with several Psychiatrists and psychologist over the year's and my final answer is they are all quacks. I had a lot of issues growing up and just like many of you the anger and the pain… read more
Lately it seems like I get more depressed in the evening. I may be having a good day all day then when the day is done it seems like depression comes creeping up on me seemingly for no reason. I was just wondering if anybody else has that problem.
It happens to me that way alot too
Hard to describe this but I mean like does anyone feel numb at times but just carries on with daily life. Like as if you don't want to do anything. You feel nothing but no point explaining to anyone knowing they won't understand as they haven't been through depression and that?
