Can Moving Help With Depression?
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've been thinking for 2 years about moving to a city 13 hours from me. My family life is complicated and a little toxic. I think moving to a place where I don't know people may actually be good for me to start over.

A new start can be a good thing. But it can also be the loss of a support system. If you’ll have a ready made one in your new city, it could be a good change for you. But if not, you may want to build one before you go.

Just try and get a skeleton support system established in new city prior to moving. This was a mistake I made.
