Is Anyone Aware Of Being Mono-polar Instead Of Bi-polar?
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

Bi-polar is specifically manic swings from highs to lows. I call it Mono-polar because it is different in that your mood swing goes from neutral to either a high or a low without the continued swing in the opposite direction. i.e. I don't get manic highs, but I experience manic lows of depression with my swing only going as far up as neutral or not caring; flat and emotionless. I am diagnosed as bi-polar because there isnt a listing for mono-polar but the mood swing down is usually manic.
