Any advice on what to do about negative thoughts that are all you have and agree with, without replacing them with positive thoughts you don’t believe? What if your thoughts have a mean tone but you are friends with them or comfortable with them and don’t argue with them because it’s useless? But you can’t move on while hating yourself, but you do?
Thanks!
Look at negative thoughts as a bad habit. Keep trying to think positively even if you are not comfortable with it. Sooner our latter you will find one that is true. Another thing that you can try is… read more
Major depression disorder
I have pets that require that I get out of bed to care for them. Otherwise, I would just stay in bed.
A grateful journal I believe has helped me more than any of them

My depression comes in waves and so does anxiety. I used to work out all the time and easy healthy all the time, but as I got older my depression and anxiety got worse. It's like "one week on, one week off" when it comes to exercising and eating right.
How do some of you keep motivated through depression to do some daily exercise?
I keep a record of daily work outs and reps. Helps me see the days I did not and makes me feel good on the days I do. This self evaluation is great in motivating me to be consistent.
Does depression sometimes convince a person that they are condemned and that they have reached a 'point of no return' where there is no hope left of eternal beatitude?
I hope this doesn't happen to you, but if any of you are familiar with this experience, please respond.
Yes I go to church but couldn't make the last 2 weeks.
