Weight Gain On Antidepressants

Hi I've been on different antidepressants for years and am currently on cymbalta/duloxetine. All of them have caused me to put on weight, which causes more depression and not liking myself. I was slim and active before I started these medications. Now I feel too tired to exercise, whereas I used to be active. Try Lamotragine. I've been on it for 2 yrs now and have lost weight on it. No carb cravings either. You start on 25 mg 2x a day, then work your way up. I'm on 125 mg 2x a day. Curbs manic symptoms as… read more

Anyone Have Experiences With Geodon As An Adjunct Med For Depression And Anxiety?

I just recently found a new psychiatrist and did Genesight genetic testing to determine what meds might work best for me. I’ve suffered from PTSD, OCD, severe depression, and anxiety for most of my life and have been on and off so many medications with no real lasting benefits. I am bi polar and I take Geodon, Invega, Amitriptyline, Paxil, Hydroxyzine, Lamictal And I am having trouble sleeping. Anyone have any suggestions? I've taken Seraquel, Trazodone and it doesnt work. And I use to take Klonopin and it worked but my new Dr won't prescribe it because it is addictive. Any suggestions are appreciated.
