Thank you for your reply , you are keeping yourself active and involved which is great and that is a thing I haven't been doing
Today I reached out to a friend as I live alone and the loneliness was adding to my existing depression , 5 hrs later she went home and I feel the benefits of the company, I need to do some other stuff just like you.
I have been working on myself for sometime now with a lot of why questions to understand the triggers I had that were kicking of my depression previously as I realized there was stuff going on in me that was causing me to fall down the rabbit hole

This bout started from sisters death but other outside things contributed
By doing this inside work I have come on leaps and bounds in my self development and it will stand for me in my future
I believe we are the creator of our emotions so that is the road I have and still am pursuing

I have tried just about every procedure and medication out there over 37 years time. You may have Treatment Resistant Depression. There may be some procedures available that you haven’t tried before. I have spent many hours researching my persistent depression and I have stepped out to try almost all of them that I found. As Sunshine_Clouds wrote, things like ECT, Ketamine, TMS are performed every day with varying success. One of them may help you. Unfortunately, I’m still depressed, but I’m still fighting and searching for something that may work for me. I wish you all the luck finding a remedy to ease the burden of depression.

This is a really good question. I have been asking myself this question for several years now. It seems like the depression and anxiety are always in the back of my mind....it is just irritating most of the time...
Keeping busy and keeping a schedule seems to work some of the time....
Of course, then those are those days nothing seems to work....have to just ride those days out...

I would say "You've tried everything?" Meaning every drug on the market? Or meaning other things like exercise, journaling and ? What I view as everything would not be the same as you cus I probably have been around this disease for longer than you(41 years) so I know that what was everything changes as time goes by.

You meet new people, you go to a different psychiatrist or psychologist or counselor. Assuming that they also would have different experiences than you have. It's a difficult question to answer. I recently joined a group on depression and have opened my heart and mind to all the different experiences that they have had. If you open yourself up to new experiences you may find you have different results. Just don't settle. Don't give up. Keep looking for new experiences.

22 years ago I had ECT. At the time I was suicidal so I didn't get hung up on how
awfully scarey it is to go through. So I went through it. Some people just say that
they won't do it. Have you tried ECT? I'm not saying you should it is just different
aspects of anything can be agreed to depending on where your head is at. Try to be open to new things.
