Just wondering if that's the cause...psych meds. I've been on them (many different ones) for nearly 20 years for major depressive disorder and anxiety. I am 40 years old and the last couple years have seemed cloudy for me. I am definitely not as sharp as I used to be! Currently on Viibryd, Abilify and Provigil. Thank you in advance!

This is my own personal experience... I had been taking a low dose of Seroquel for about 2 ½ years, feeling very depressed and low, my psychiatrist decided to take me off Seroquel I was prescribed Bupropion. Hi. I'm really needing support right now Has anyone here had a really negative effect(s) on Wellbutrin ER? I'm experiencing weight gain, crying ( I am not someone that cries unless I'm angry or severely depressed). I feel empty, like I'm nothing. When I first started taking the Trintellix I had a scary episode, while driving to work I became very confused and didn't know where I was. That has never happened to me before. Instead of talking to my very bossy psyc nurse I quite the Trintellix by myself. I am looking for alternatives to meds, has anyone had any success with TMS? My doctor recently put me on Amitriptyline 25 mg and it has really helped my mood swings and anger issues. After taking it for 2 months, I gained almost 10 lbs. Then I read that one of it's side effects is weight gain. A couple weeks ago he increased the dosage to 100 mg. Why and how does it cause weight gain and what can I do to prevent it?

There seem to be a lot of negative side effects to my current medication. Some of these actually make me feel worse about myself.

I have a question for anyone who is currently on or has been on either of these two medications my Doctor also recommended me to try for the pain and what you might feel about side effects, if one is better than the other, etc. Anyways the two medications I had recommended to me are:

Duloxetine & Nortriptyline

I'm researching both of the above myself as well, but I'm wondering if the side effects are worth the advantages they give?

I'm on Zoloft and have been for about 3-4 months now I think and since August I have gained 30lbs. I've seen that it can cause weight loss but could it be the cause of my weight gain?

Anybody else have this problem? I was on 20mg of Lexapro. Although I felt like it was helping my mood a bit, I was very tired all day, even while taking it at night and my eyelids swelled up 2 days after starting it. I've been tapering down and I'm at 10mg right now. I go down to 5mg in a week. Im hoping my eye problem goes away. I will say, I don't feel quite right. I feel anxious even with taking klonopin.
