I have recently heard that there are mental heath firstaiders and was wondering if anybody have received any help from them and if so in what way have the helped you

I haven't heard of them either. I volunteer with the Veterans Mental Health Council, so I work closely with mental health providers. This maybe another name for crisis intervention. I'll check with the VA providers.
