It makes you feel bad because he's an ex and was probably somebody you potentially seeing yourself with in the future so to be vulnerable around someone like that and y'all not together anymore for him to say something hurtful like that yeah it hurts because of the time and the history that you guys have so that's why I hurts but it's not you he probably misses you
