Just A Fun Poll: What Phobias Do You Have?
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

Describe your phobia and a story behind it or where it came from. Just for the fun of it. I have a few phobias and still have no idea where they came from
I have fear of vomiting. I only vomited once when I was little, and just nauseous many times, trying to hold everything in. Not sure why I developed the fear
My second fear is fear of wasps. I can't be in the same room as one. I was never stung by one before, only by a bee, but the fear begun before that. So no idea how the fear started,… read more

" Every time I make a mistake I beat myself up to a pulp, metaphorically. And I can get clingy as to not lose the person in question, or even reject before they reject me. I even feel an emptiness if my husband stands up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. The reduction of weight on the bed makes me feel so alone all of the sudden"
THIS IS SHOCKINGLY FAMILIA TO ME. I'm shook.

Flying waterbugs/roaches. I incompletely freak out. I've literally run out of my house. I can't even get close to them to kill them. Growing up we had an open bed trailer in the back yard. My dad decided we would start loading it with trash. Once it was quite full it was time to take it to the dump. My sister, cousin and I got up on the trailer & started throwing trash off. Once we got through the 1st layer, the 2nd layer was 1000's upon 1000's of them. Big fat ugly flying water bugs everywhere you looked. That still has me traumatised to this day. Flying at me, landing on me. It was awful. My heart is pounding and I'm shaking just writing it. It was definitely not fun by any means. And there it is. I've never written that down. It's bad enough remembering it. Very very bad experience.
