I have been on it for years and realized that most people don't even know about it. I am on it under a doctor's care but I would swear by it. Full disclosure though I am on other anti-depressants and mood stabilizers. I would check with your doctor in regards to possibly adding SAM-e if you are in need of another antidepressant.
@A MyDepressionTeam Member It's a vitamin supplement. You buy it at Walgreens or CVS etc, It's expensive but totally worth it,
I have tried SAME. I used it many years ago, before having uncontrollable anxiety and depression. I probably needed meds in my 20's since I had anxiety and depression in high school.
Right now, CELEXA works for me!
@A MyDepressionTeam Member Hi. I'm glad to hear that you found the SAM-e beneficial but yes I know it is expensive. Have you tried the sales that they have at Walgreens or Rite Aide? They usually have 2 for 1 sales.....also if you order it from a supplement manufacturer it is cheaper. I'm sorry I don't know about St Johns Wort if it is better. I wish you the best of luck with it...

I tried it a few years ago and it didn't do anything for me so I stopped.
