My doctor told me my calcium level is low
I have been getting a lot of problems with cramps in my legs, mostly my shins and the backs of legs from my right knee up to my butt cheek
I cannot sleep at night due to the constant pain.
Could this be related to my calcium levels.

Drink lots of water. I also find calcium/potassium helps my leg cramps. Im also on meds for severe restless legs.
It sounds like you need a second opinion. Your doctor should be listening to and helping you. You could also take some calcium supplements to see if that helps.
Hope things improve for you soon.
After the week I’ve just had I think That being discounted or not taken seriously is pretty accurate Annie but yeh I might see if I can get a second blood test and he can check it again. I didn’t sleep at all last night, my legs were aching constantly.

He is my GP. I don’t have any faith in him at all but it’s not easy to swap and change doctors where I live and I’m worried that to change doctors would be like opening up a whole new tin of worms.
He is very understanding of my mental health, he knows my full history plus he doesn’t have to treat me for it.
I cannot face relating everything to another stranger and if I did manage to get accepted somewhere else that’s exactly what I would have to do.
Thank you for being so understanding and for taking time out to reply, it’s very much appreciated, bless your heart.🌹🌹
