Feeling Tired And Sleepy All Day
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

I've been on latuda for 2 weeks now and I have been sleeping from 1 am to about 3 or 4 in the afternoon. I get up to go to the restroom and go right back to bed. I have things to do and I am always leaving them to the last minute and sometimes don't even get things done. I was taking seroquel for about 2 weeks prior when this started. I'm bipolar and am going through a tough time getting motivated for anything. I don't know if it's the medicine or it's just me? Is there anything out there that… read more

I feel the same. I want to give up, I Wake up every day with anxiety. Sick to my stomach, don't want to eat. Im waiting for an air conditioner Thursday but today is the hottest. I get up for my kitty. but my apartment is so messy I can't clean it. I just had surgery and shouldn't be on my feet. No one to visit me. I don't drive. Brain surgery ruined that for me. God has something planned for me, just wish he'd let me know.

I go to a clinic where there is several doctors. I see different doctors and they all seem to have a different opinions. I feel like I'm on a roller coaster. Every time I tell them that I still feel depressed they change the medicine I'm taking to a different one. If it were not for bad experiences in the past being off medication I would just quit all together. At this point I feel like just giving up.

I'm also bipolar and have had similar experiences with different drugs. The oversleeping for me was because the dose was too high. Although I have not taken Latuda, I tried a similar Vraylar and it caused me the worst anxiety I have ever had. Call your doc and let them know what's going on.

Please call your doctor. Maybe this drug is not for you. I went through five different antidepressants before Effexor was the best one. Or possibly reduce the dose but def talk to your doc. It may be as small as a milligram change. You won't know until you see your doc. That will put you hopefully at ease and you are participating in it as well so that's powerful!😘
