For example Ill be walking out the door and I feel as if I'm not in my body- just going through the motions. Anybody else feel this way? If so please share your coping methods. Thank you kindly in advance
I experience this everyday. Often it happens whenever there is some sort of emotional trigger, usually negative. I remember the first time it happened I was crying super hard and then I stopped and felt nothing, I looked at my hands and felt as though they weren't real, like I was watching myself move through someone else's eyes.
Some coping methods, try grounding yourself. Physically put your feet on the ground and focus on that sensation. Know that you are present and what your experiencing is real. Focus on the physical sensations you experience.
Talk to your dr about this. Not good. I have bad coping skills dont recommends them.
