Daylight Lamps?
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi, I've noticed that my mental health takes a massive nosedive in the autumn and winter months. It's taken me years to realise but this year it has suddenly dawned on me. Spring and summer months I can function as normal. My GP has suggested a daylight lamp. Does anyone use one and do you think it makes a difference? Can anybody recommend a particular product?

They sell them at JoAnn’s fabrics ( of all places) for around $40. It is a good way to try them out before investing in a more expensive one. My friend swears by it. I found it to be annoying. It is certainty worth a try! My friend can’t stop thanking me.

Thank you everyone! It's been happening for years but I've only just made the connection. Will definitely try a lamp. Thank you!
