I feel like going to church, which I haven't done in years, might help with my depression. However, I am concerned that I would have to give up some of the things I enjoy and my open-mind to make it work. Any thoughts on this? Experiences? I also want to say that I've run into quite a few people that are very close-minded, seeing only what's on the surface. I am not like that, nor do I want to be like that.
Just go forget what people think. Good people don’t judge. Prayers saved my life
I use to go to a small country church it was great.
I think that depends on which church you go to. I love church myself but only go christmas and Easter not because of rules but because I can't handle alot of people. I will be going to midnight mass on Sunday and there will be over 200 people there. By the time I get home I will be drained. I only wish I could go every sunday
Attending church always brings me peace of mind and keeps me mindful of the blessings I DO have in my life.
You may find some peace in your thoughts and depression if you go to church.Just pray from what you are feeling from your heart.
