Has Anyone On Here Been On Effexor Long Term And Gotten Over The Side Effects? Mainly
A MyDepressionTeam Member asked a question 💭

There seem to be a lot of negative side effects to my current medication. Some of these actually make me feel worse about myself.

I was on Effexor for almost a year about 18 years ago. It pulled me out of a severe depression but I never adjusted to the side effects. On the other hand, a relative of mine took it for years without any side effects at all. These things are highly individual.

I have been on Effexor xr 300mg for over 20 yrs and haven’t had anything bad occur. It’s the only drug I have found to continue to work. All the others seem to lose their purpose within and year.
