There is a genetic test you can take called a PGT test that actually breaks down medications into categories and it tells you medications that will not work for you and ones that will work with your genetic makeup. I had my test in 2014 and my Psychiatrist got me on my combination of medications and I have felt so much better since then. My isolation hasn't gotten any better, but that is because that has been a learned behavior that I have to change. But as far as medications, I know the test works because a few of the medications that I had severe reactions to were on the list that I should never take, and the others that did not help me were on the list that I should not take. The Judge in my disability case said he had never heard of the test but felt everyone with mental health issues should be given the test instead of have to guess at their medicines for sometimes years at a time. He said he felt their mental health sometimes declined further by having to go through so many medications that failed and they felt they were never going to feel better. Which males some sense. Maybe this this is available where you are from. It would not hurt to ask..

Was the shock therapy painfull or unpleasant? If you could compair the discomfort level to something?
